There is something for everyone at the Chalets sur le fleuve

It is true that many of our guests are seeking the tranquility that our cottages on the river offer, but there are also plenty of activities that you can enjoy during your stay.

In summer, many indulge in hiking on our shores, observing the wide variety of birds, using the boat or kayaks (there is no extra charge), fishing by line (it’s an old outfitter), cycling and in the evening, gathering around a campfire.

There are also excellent golf courses nearby open to the public, the famous archeological museum of Pointe-du-Buisson, the St-Timothée beach, tours of the Beauharnois hydro dam, wineries, beekeeping centers, fields of auto crop in season for raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, apples, etc. And there are also very popular activities such arbre en arbre, paintball, wakeboarding and water skiing.

Don’t forget the International Régates of Valleyfield which will be held on July 10, 11 and 12 2015.

In winter, people come for cross-country skiing, skating on the lake and even organize fishing on the ice. We can also arrange for the rental of fishing cabins on ice.
